Obligatory St. Patty’s Day Post
We all know St. Patrick’s Day is this Sunday and I’m sure everyone has made relevant plans. No one needs to be reminded about Shamrock the Block, so let me segue to another drinking event:
Sunday, April 14th, Carytown is hosting their very first Craft Beer Festival. It is from 12-6pm and tickets are $15/advance, $20/gate. Your admission includes a souvenir pint glass and unlimited craft beer. Hopefully you live in walking distance. Cross your fingers for some solid weather.
On a more somber note, Cous Cous announced today that they’ll be closing their doors at the end of March. 
They didn’t give a specific reason, but to read the whole post and show some support click here.

MINT for Thanksgiving
If you happen to be floating around RVA without any Thanksgiving plans this year, be sure to head over to MINT. At 5pm on Thursday, November 22nd they will be serving their full menu. They’ll have everything from snacks such as Sweet Potato Biscuits with Edwards Country Ham and Pepper Jelly to main plates like Grilled 12 ounce Pork Chop, Brined in Bourbon and Sweet Tea served with wonderful Corn Pudding.
