Social52‘s Summer Gas Grill Giveaway began this week! For every burger purchased from their NEW specialty burger menu, you get an entry form to enter and try to win the 6 burner gas grill. Mon and Tues are double entry days so you get two entries instead of one. The winner will be announced at their 1 year anniversary blowout on August 23rd. Winner must be present to win. They’ll be giving away a bunch of other prizes and hosting a mini cornhole tournament that day as well. Live entertainment will be on hand, featuring a few local bands, djs, and more. So if you’re game for a spectacular time, you might want to get over to Social52.

This weekend marks another St. Patty’s Day celebration in good ole RVA. You’ll need to note some changes on where, when, and how to get that glorious green beer.
First off, Shamrock the Block is now being held on Boulevard (between Movieland and Broad St.) from 11am-5pm on Saturday, March 15th. There will be street parking in Scott’s Addition and free parking at the Diamond from 2:15-6pm. For more details on the beverage, food, and band lineup go HERE.
If you’re a creature of habit and feel the need to tie one on in Bottom as in the glory days of yore, you can enjoy the likes of Shockoe Fest 2014. That’s right. The bars and restaurants of the Bottom and the Slip have banded together to bring you their own St. Patty’s themed celebration. There will be plenty of food, beer, music, and family friendly activities to experience around the 17th St. Farmer’s Market area this Saturday, March 15th. For more info on the bands and additional events being put on by nearby restaurants click HERE.
Enjoy yourselves and as always, stay safe.
The Well, Tobacco Company, Lady N’awlins, Bistro Bobette, 2113 Bistro on Main, & Nacho Mama’s have been updated recently. Thanks to everyone who e-mailed us the details!
Let us know if you find any other updates, new spots, or new specials.
Oh you guys…just in time for real fall weather. Postbellum is now open daily from 3:30pm-2am. Complete with one of RVA’s only ROOFTOP DECKS. Here’s what Richmond.com has to say. The highlights are that there is a ROOFTOP DECK and that Jen Mindell is the chef (from the Rooster Cart and briefly Avalon). See you there!
